In accordance with the data of the financial consulting company State Street, worldwide investors` confidence reached its historical minimum at the background of the fear for the economic growth perspectives. The confidence index calculated by the investors` company - State Street Investor Confidence Index - fell down to 78.6 points from 83.4 points in September.
October value has become the lowest since September 1998 when the consulting company started compiling data. Considerable monthly fall has been caused by investors realizing the fact that moderate monetary policy reaches its final stage at the opinion of the company`s experts. The confidence level of the northern American investors has decreased in October to 93.5 points from the revised towards increasing of September 99.4 points, European - down to 69.7 points from 70.5, Asian-Pacificm otherwise increased greatly to 85.2 points from 78.8.
